Notably, about 25% of the scholarships will be directed towards those who are committed to careers in education, nonprofits, government, the military, or any field involving public service. The Cameron Impact Scholarship’s eligibility is determined by specific criteria:

  • Maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.7/4.0 or equivalent throughout high school.
  • Hold full citizenship in the United States of America.
  • Belong to the high school graduating Class of 2024 and intend to pursue a full-time degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university for the academic year immediately following high school graduation.
  • Display outstanding performance in extracurricular activities, exhibit strong leadership qualities, possess a dedicated work ethic, and actively participate in community service or civic-minded endeavors.

Submit three components by the application deadline: Online Application, Two Letters of Recommendation, and an Academic Transcript verifying your academic performance.

Application Deadlines

There are two opportunities to submit the Initial Online Application for the Cameron Impact Scholarship:

  • Early Application Deadline: May 19, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT (NOON)
  • Regular Application Deadline: September 8, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. PT (NOON)

Selection Process

  • Rolling Basis Review: Applications are reviewed as they are received and evaluated on an ongoing basis. The foundation will limit the number of applications reviewed to 3,000 from the Class of 2024. They will update their website and social media if they are approaching this limit.
  • Selection Procedure: The Selection Committee will choose 75-100 Finalists for face-to-face interviews in Fall 2023. These interviews typically take place at the applicant’s high school. Recipients of the Cameron Impact Scholarship will be announced in December 2023.
  • Scholarship Obligations: Those awarded the Cameron Impact Scholarship must attend an annual Cameron Impact Scholars Award Ceremony and Summit for the entire 4-year duration of the scholarship.

Applicants should submit their Cameron Impact Scholarship application well before the final deadline to avoid potential technical submission issues. The foundation won’t take responsibility for technical problems on the due date. Recommendation letters and transcripts can either be uploaded with the application or emailed to the Foundation at Only two recommendation letters are required.

Incomplete applications won’t be reviewed or considered. Applicants must not have existing relationships with Bryan Cameron Education Foundation staff, Board of Directors, or Selection Committee members. The Foundation adheres to a non-discrimination policy regarding characteristics like gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, and more.

  • Create Account: Generate a unique username and password for your application.
  • Activate Account: Check your email, including the spam folder, for an activation email. If you don’t receive it promptly, contact the admin for assistance.
  • Applicant Login: On the website, locate the “Applicant Login” button, usually found in the bottom banner section.
  • Complete Application: Provide all necessary details and essays, adhering to word limits. Also, upload your transcript and two recommendation letters (remember, only two recommendations are needed). You can either upload these documents within the application itself or email them to

  • Transcript and Recommendations: If you didn’t include your transcript and/or recommendations during the initial application, ensure these are emailed to by the Application Deadline. Be aware that the foundation does not grant deadline extensions.
