JPTS Nursing Degree Programme
The JPTS Nursing degree program has undergone a significant overhaul, extending its duration to four years in response to evolving educational needs. This program is now considered a “Foreign Course” and can be pursued at the Global Wealth University in Togo, offering a unique international learning opportunity.
Concurrently, the Nursing program’s counterpart, Health Care Management, has been introduced as an independent BSc course in Nigeria. Previously, both disciplines were taught together as a single course; however, they were separated in the final quarter of 2022. This strategic separation allows for specialized instruction and focused learning experiences in each field.
Candidates in Nigeria aspiring to pursue nursing have two options:
- Enroll in the full nursing degree program at Global Wealth University in Togo, completing it over four years to attain full nursing certification and specialization.

Duration and Scope of JPTS Institute Course
At JPTS Institute, the Nursing and Engineering programs stand out as the only Bachelor of Science courses with a four-year duration, while all other BSc courses are completed in three years. The initial year is dedicated to comprehensive theoretical learning, encompassing the fundamentals of Health Care Management and Nursing.
In the subsequent second and third years, the focus shifts to intensive practical training. Students engage in rigorous hands-on experience through six-month internships conducted at accredited hospitals and clinics. Upon successfully completing three years of study and practical training, students earn their graduation.
For those enrolled in the Nursing program, an additional fourth year is designated for obtaining the Registered Nurse Certificate (RN). This advanced training takes place either at the JPTS Institute study center in Togo or in collaboration with a reputable hospital. JPTS and NYSC
Upon obtaining a BSc degree from institutions like Global Wealth University or other partnering universities, JPTS students are promptly eligible for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization. To qualify, students must provide evidence of graduation from the university’s main campus and possess all the required documents.
In addition to academic achievements, a crucial step for NYSC mobilization involves the completion of a mandatory project defense undertaken by each student in Togo following their course of study. Meeting the university’s criteria through this defense not only facilitates NYSC mobilization but also enables students to receive their certificates from the university.

JPTS University School Fees For Nursing
JPTS students are required to pay for application and admission processing fees, administration fees, maintenance fees, and an international ID card. Additionally, there are exam fees, typically ranging from N3000 to N5000 per paper.
The processing fees are the initial payment required for new intake students. Once your admission letter is issued, you can then begin paying the remaining fees.
At JPTS, tuition fees are waived, but there are other specified levies that you need to cover. Administrative fees amount to N10,000.
