UNIOSUN College of Health Sciences

The College of Health Sciences was one of the first colleges established at Osun State University in September 2007. They offer B.Sc degrees in Anatomy, Physiology, Public Health, and Nursing Science. They were able to start teaching MBBS again when the Chancellor donated a hospital to the university.

The UNIOSUN Department of Medicine and Surgery is one of the departments under the College of Health Sciences at Osun State University. The Department is dedicated to producing competent and highly skilled medical practitioners who will be able to provide quality healthcare services to the people.

The Department offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme that is accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. The programme is designed to take six years and is divided into two phases: the pre-clinical phase and the clinical phase.
