In this article, Students Mirror looks at the Redeemer’s University Nigeria Notable Alumni and provides an overview of their careers and educational backgrounds.

1. Debo Adedayo

Debo Adedayo, who is known as Mr. Macaroni, is a renowned Nigerian activist, actor, and comedy skit maker. The public figure was born on the 3rd of May, 1993. He’s an alumnus of Redeemer’s University, Nigeria, Ede.

Adedayo, who since he got to fame in 2012, is one of Nigeria’s most loved comic skit makers, not only in Nigeria but in West Africa and beyond. His incredible talent for comedy has earned him several awards and international recognition.

The Redeemers’ University notable alumnus, Macaroni, hails from Ogun State, but was born in Ogudu, in Lagos State.

The comedian did his pre-primary and primary education at the Tendercare International Nursery and Primary School in Magodo, Isheri before studying at the Babcock University High School, where he completed his secondary education.

Debo Adedayo, in 2009, gained admission into Lead City University in Ibadan, where he partly studied law before leaving the varsity over accreditation issues while in 200L. In 2011, Adedayo continued his law studies at Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou but couldn’t continue, so he left.

After leaving the Cotonou varsity, Macaroni proceeded to study Theatre Arts at the Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, in Ekiti State. He couldn’t continue due to some issues he was facing, so he left. In 2013, Debo got admission into the Redeemer’s University Nigeria, Ede, Osun State, where he finally graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts and Film Studies sometime in 2018.

2. Deborah Irele Moyinoluwa

Irele Moyinoluwa Deborah, a financial analyst, is another proud alumna of Redeemer’s University. The Nigerian graduated from university with a first-class degree in economics.

Prior to her stay at Redeemer’s University, Deborah attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), where she studied Agric-Economics. She left the university while in 400L because of the incessant strikes caused by university staff unions. Deborah, while at Redeemer’s University, besides academics, was involved in religious activities and was an EXCO member in her campus fellowship. The alumna also served as the president of her department.

3. Deji Adeyemi

Deji Adeyemi, an outstanding alumnus of Redeemers University, as the first Redeemer’s University Students Association (RUNSA) President. Adeyemi was among the university’s first set of students. Sadly, Deji Adeyemi passed away in March 2022.

4. Ifeoluwa Bejide

Ifeoluwa Bejide graduated with a first class degree from Redeemer’s University with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.93 in Microbiology.

On her convocation day, notable personalities such as the former minister of defence, Theophilus Danjuma, and the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, were in attendance.

The alumnus is the first of two daughters in a family of four. Ifeoluwa did her primary education at the ECWA Nursery and Primary School, Akure, before proceeding to Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School, Akure, and Redeemer’s High School, Redemption Camp, in Ogun State for her secondary education.

5. Ayoola Oladapo Agboola

Ayoola Oladapo Agboola, popularly known as Kiddominant or KDDO or Kiddominant, is another notable alumnus of Redeemer’s University. The Nigerian is a recording producer, artist, and songwriter, who has won numerous awards both at home and abroad.

Kiddominant was the producer of Davido’s Fall, which peaked on the US R& B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart at number 13 on Billboard. He was also part of Pulse Nigeria’s top 10 record producers, and in 2020, he became the first Afrobeats producer to be certified by the Recording Industry Association of America, after which he became a certified gold record in the United States.

Kiddo hails from Lagos, Nigeria. He did his primary and secondary education in Lagos before proceeding to study actuarial science at the Redeemer’s University Ede, Osun State.

6. Dammy Twitch

Dammy Twitch, one of Nigeria’s professional video producers, is an alumnus of Redeemer’s University. The talented producer is known for producing hit music videos. One of which includes Zlatan Ibile’s Zanku. Beyond producing music videos, he’s a professional photo editor. Since he joined the entertainment industry, Dammy Twitch has worked with notable artists such as Burna Boy, Peruzzi, and Davido.

Born on October 27, 1995, Twitch hails from Ogun State, Nigeria but grew up in Oluyole, Oyo State. The video creator attended TAIDOB College and the Redeemers Secondary School for his secondary education. He went on to study economics at Redeemer’s University. In 2017, he completed his National Youth Service Corp program.

7. Olu Oyinsan

Olu Oyinsan, also known as Oluwaseun, joined Ingressive Capital in 2017 as vice president of Investments, where he leads due diligence and supports deal origination across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
Oyinsan previously worked as a banker at Guaranty Trust Bank (GT Bank) Limited before joining the Ingressive. He was also aconsultantt at Forrester and a relationship advisor at the Silicon Valley Bank in the USA.

Oyinsan holds an MBA from Hult International Business School, Boston in Finance and Strategy.

8. Benita Iyere Okogie

Benita Iyere Okogie is a renowned gospel musician who came to wide recognition after singing Osemudiamen. Okojie is originally from Edo State, Nigeria, and from the Esan tribe. The gifted singer attended Redeemer’s University and majored in English.

The “Osemudiamen” singer in 1999, Okojie performed at the opening and closing ceremonies of the FIFA Under–21 World Cup, which was held in Nigeria. The female singer was invited by the former Nigerian First Lady, Mrs. Stella Obasanjo, to perform at Nigeria’s 40th independence anniversary celebration at Aso Villa in the year 2000. Benita is married to Olawale Adeyina, who’s also an alumnus of Redeemer’s University.

9. Mayowa Adegoke

Mayowa Adegoke is an international journalist and award-winning television show host based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She’s also one of the foreign correspondents for Channels Television.
Mayowa Adegoke, the television personality, is an expert in public and motivational speaking. She has over ten years of multimedia experience. In 2021, she was recognized as one of the twelve inspirational and entrepreneurial women in the United Arab Emirates.

10. Mildred Ehiguese

Mildred Peace Ehiguese hails from Edo State. The Nigerian-born model was crowned Miss Nigeria in 2017, representing Adamawa State in the beauty pageant.
