DELSU Hostel Pictures

In this article, we’ll be looking at DELSU Hostel pictures. Quite a lot of aspiring students have been inquiring about what DELSU hostel looks like, so this article is written to provide all the details.

While this article is primarily centered on showing you DELSU Hostel pictures, we’ll also look at other vital information about the institution, such as its history, location, and hostel fees, among others.

But before we look at that, let’s briefly know some of the guidelines for the allocation of students into hostels and fees.

Guidelines for Allocation of Students into Halls of Residence and Payment

The allocation of students into halls of residence and payment at the institution follow a specific pricing pattern. For male students, Abraka Hall offers bed spaces at a rate of N30,000 each, while female students have the option of Ethiope Hostel and Council Hall, also priced at N30,000 per bed space. There are, however, some variations in pricing for other halls. The NDDC Hall, which is exclusively for female students, charges N60,000 per bed space, as does the Medical Hostel for both male and female students. The Executive Postgraduate Hostel, which is mixed, is priced at N75,000 per bed space. Eco Hostel offers bed spaces at a rate of N40,000.

This distribution pattern is the result of the management’s decision to make hostel accommodation compulsory for 100-level students. This pricing structure aims to provide students with a range of accommodation options while ensuring that hostel facilities are accessible and affordable for all, encouraging students to take advantage of the on-campus housing provided by the institution.

Category A: Freshers (100-Level UTME and 200-Level Direct Entry)

Step 1: Fresh students approach the hall warden of their chosen hostel and present evidence of payment for the approved Admission Acceptance and Microsoft Verification charges. They receive an Authority to Pay slip, which is valid for 24 hours.

Step 2: Fresh students proceed to a designated bank to pay the approved accommodation charge. Afterward, they visit the designated Bursary personnel/unit to exchange the bank payment teller for an official University receipt.

Step 3: Returning to the hall warden of their chosen hostel, fresh students present the University’s official accommodation charge receipt. They collect the Hall Data document for N1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira Only), pay the approved hall dues, contribute N4,000.00 (Four Thousand Naira) for a foam, and are allocated a bed space on a first-come, first-served basis. This process ensures a systematic and organized allocation of bed spaces to new students.

Category B: Stale Students

Step 1: Stale students visit the hall warden of their preferred hostel and provide evidence of their studentship, including a valid Student ID card for the current academic session, an online school fee print-out, and a course registration form for the current academic session. In return, they receive an Authority to Pay slip, which is valid for 24 hours.

Step 2: Stale students proceed to a designated bank to make payment for the approved accommodation charge. Subsequently, they go to the designated Bursary personnel or unit to exchange the bank payment teller for an official University receipt.

Step 3: Returning to the hall warden of their chosen hostel, stale students present the University’s official accommodation charge receipt. They collect the Hall Data document for N1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira Only), pay the approved hall dues, contribute N4,000.00 (Four Thousand Naira) for a foam, and are assigned a bed space on a first-come, first-served basis. This process ensures an organized allocation of bed spaces for returning students.
