Bowen University is a Baptist Christian Nigerian university founded and managed by the Nigerian Baptist Convention. The varsity is situated at Iwo in Osun State, Nigeria. It was founded on July 17, 2001.
1. Jolaade Adeyemo
Jolaade Adeyemo is a Bowen University Notable Alumna. She is an accountant who works for a multinational company. In her secondary school, she was elected as the Assistant Senior Prefect. She attended Oritamefa Baptist Model School in Ibadan for her secondary school where she wrote her West African Senior School Certificate Examination and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and passed in one sitting.
Jolaade held various positions during her university days, such as Assistant Female Hall Shepherd and Vice President Female of the student body. Jolaade Adeyemo once disclosed that her role model is Mrs. Ibukun Awosika.

Dr. Olawuyi Damilola is another renowned alumnus of Bowen University. He was also the best graduating medical student during his time. He is a medical doctor and health advocate.
3. Peace Osereme Eromonsele
Peace Osereme Eromonsele was born into the family of Pastor David and Pastor Mary Eromonsele. She is a graduate of Bowen University. She graduated as the best graduate from the Bowen University College of Health Sciences, where she studied Medicine and Surgery.
The alumna attended CITA International School for her junior secondary school in Port Harcourt before completing her secondary school education at Graceland International School, Port Harcourt, River’s State, Nigeria.
4. Gloria Okonokhua
Gloria Okonokhua graduated from Bowen University at the age of 21 with a first class in Anatomy. Gloria Okonokhua is a writer. One of her books includes BKIA, an e-book that introduces anatomy to biomedical and medical students or any student with an interest in anatomy. It also serves as a guide for lecturers to teach students the basics of anatomy.
Gloria Okonokhua attended Redeemer’s Primary School, FESTAC, Lagos, and Henna-Teck International College, also in Lagos. During her university days, she also served as the Assistant General Secretary of Bowen University South-South.
5. Onyinye Enyioha.
Onyinye Enyiohanis another alumnus of Bowen University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He currently serves as the Founder and Technical Lead of a company called TotalView Media. He hails from Obinze in Imo State, Nigeria.
6. Ayomiku Alabi
Ayomiku Alabi, who is the daughter of popular Yoruba gospel musician Tope Alabi, is also an alumna of Bowen University. Ayomiku Alabi graduated from Bowen University Iwo at the age of 22 in the year 2020 with a second class upper degree in music. She was born on May 7, 1998 in Lagos. She released her debut single, “A Friend,” featuring her mother, in 2020. She once disclosed that she would have loved to be either an actress or a movie producer.
7. Abe Opeyemi

2. Demilade Lawal
Demilade Lawal graduated first class from the Department of Biochemistry at Bowen University in 2017. She’s the granddaughter of Dr. O. A. Lawal, one of Nigeria’s renowned authors.
Demilade was well known to be brilliant in primary school. She left secondary school at the age of 15. During her university days, she was the treasurer of her department for a year.
3. Adetayo Adenrele
Adetayo Adenrele is a young, determined graduate of Bowen University, Iwo, with a unique leadership quality and character.
