Pastor Kumuyi Daughter In-Law, Mrs. Love Odih-Kumuyi is the wife of John Kumuyi, the son of Nigeria’s renowned and respected clergyman, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, who’s the founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) Nationwide. Mrs. Love Odih-Kumuyi married John Kumuyi sometime in 2013.

Mrs. Love Odih-Kumuyi was born into the family of a Nigerian clergyman who served as the Deeper Life Kaduna State Overseer and the Deeper Life Overseer in Jamaica, an island country situated in the Caribbean.

Mrs. Love Odih Kumuyi is the Founder and Culture Engineering Officer at Unsiloed, an organization established in 2018 based in New York. Unsiloed is an organization where experts use dialogue, data, and interactive learning experiences to manage conflict, promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within one organization’s goals. They help leaders and teams transform DEI initiatives into meaningful plans for unsiloed communication and collaboration. They support clients in creating a psychologically safe culture of collaboration.

From June 2018 to January 2020, Love Odih-Kumuyi served as the Associate Dean for Conflict Resolution Services and as a Co-Chair of the Bias Assessment and Response Team at Cornell University, United States.

As co-chair of the Bias Assessment and Response Committee, she rewrote the University’s code 6.4 definitions of a “qualifying bias incident” and “protected identities” to systemically be more inclusive. Her work also supported a reform of the reporting and response framework for bias, hate incidents, and conflict.

She also developed and delivered training on topics including conflict transformation, implicit bias, and empathy in leadership to over 1,000 student employees and organizational leaders, among others.
Mrs. Love was appointed to the Vice President’s Divisional Leadership Team and other interdisciplinary teams to collaborate with campus stakeholders, law enforcement, mental health providers, staff, student leaders, and others to implement long-term and systemic inclusion initiatives.

From January 2017 to May 2018, Odih-Kumuyi was an Associate Professor of Peace, Justice, and Conflict Transformation Studies at Pace University.
She was a Knowledge Management Specialist/E-learning and Evaluations Consultant at the Caribbean Examinations Council.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Love Odih Kumuyi served as an Associate Attorney-at-Law at Rattray Patterson Rattray from June 2012 to July 2013, where she was actively involved in managing and overseeing research and case support in over 150 litigation, mediation, and arbitration cases, among other duties.

Love Odih Kumuyi is a prolific writer. She has written several educative and transformational articles.

Pastor Kumuyi History

Pastor Kumuyi is the general superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM). He was born into the family of Mr. Gabriel Kumuyi Akinfenwa and Mrs. Comfort Idowu Kumuyi Akinfenwa.

Pastor Kumuyi hails from Erin-Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria. He was born and brought up by Christian parents who were Anglicans.

Pastor Kumuyi’s Educational Background


The church founder completed his secondary school education in 1961 at Mayflower School in Ikenne, Ogun State, South West Nigeria. He then proceeded to the University of Ibadan In 1967, he bagged a first-class degree in mathematics, graduating as the overall best student in his set.

The University of Ibadan notable alumni also took a post-graduate course in education at the University of Lagos and was honored with a honorary doctorate degree from the University of Abuja.


Pastor Kumuyi Career

Kumuyi started his teaching of mathematics in the year 1962 at Mayflower School. He later worked at the University of Lagos, where he lectured during the 1970s.
