The first Provost of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences was appointed in 2003 by Prof. Ibeh C.I. After his tenure as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, he was succeeded by Dr. P.J.C. Nwosu in 2005. Prof. A.E. Anya became the Dean in June 2009, before he handed over to the current Dean, Professor C.T. John, at the end of his tenure in June 2014.
Since its establishment, the Madonna University Faculty of Medicine has experienced consistent growth in its staff, facilities, student enrolment, and graduate output. The first batch of graduates was produced in 2009, and the faculty’s staff has been active in attending national and international conferences.
