History of ECWA Student Ministry (ESM)
ESM was formerly known as “ESA – ECWA Student Association.” It’s a student religious ministry initiated and founded by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), a renowned church in Nigeria.

ESM was inaugurated on April 19, 1992 at the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) headquarters in order to promote the work of the Great Commission in all higher educational institutions.
The vision and mission of ESM is to thoroughly discipline, motivate, develop, and equip students and graduates for global evangelism in order to strengthen the church and its departments.
ESM “ECWA Student Ministry” chapters are present in almost all colleges of education, polytechnics, and universities in Nigeria.
The student chapel is among one of the most populated campus fellowships in Nigeria’s tertiary institutions.
ESM was established in schools with the aim of ensuring students would be routed through the word of God and to foster a good relationship with all members of the respective campuses. It’s an avenue where students who attend ECWA CHURCH before they get admission meet, know themselves, share and listen to the word of God, as well as grow in Godliness and in God’s commandments.
ESM – ECWA Student Ministry weekly activities are mostly held on Sundays from 8am–10am and on Fridays for Bible Study/Prayer Meeting, which is normally held by 4:00pm.
Every chapter of ESM—ECWA Student Ministry, which is situated on all campuses, is headed by a president and other executives. They control and handle school fellowships and make venues available for worship. These executives include the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Choir Coordinator, Drama Coordinator, Assistant Choir Coordinator, Financial Secretary, etc.
If you’re an ECWA member and you are at a university, college of education, or polytechnic, it’s important and advisable to locate your fellows and worship with them. Try to be committed to joining a department.
ESM chapters are fully recognized and registered in various schools.

ECWA Student Ministry Logo
The ECWA Student Ministry logo was culled from the Evangelical Church Winning All logo. It’s a little bit different from its mother church’s logo. The ECWA Student Ministry logo is a globe with a graduation cap on top, and “ECWA Student Ministry” is written beneath the globe. These are the major differences between the ECWA student ministry logo and the Evangelical Church Winning All logo.
History of ECWA
Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) is one of Africa’s largest Christian denominations. The church is in partnership with the international Christian mission organization, Serving In Mission (SIM), previously known as Sudan Interior Mission.
ECWA was established in the year 1954. It was as a result of a history of ministry and the wide spread gospel of Jesus Christ in Africa by several missionaries.
The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) is affiliated with Bingham University. The private university, which is situated in Karu, Nasarawa State, was started in 2005.
